The Ambassador's Mad Science

I don't know if any of you did cyclone experiments in grade school. You take two bottles, put water in one of them, then attach them to each other. As you tip them over and the water spills into the bottom bottle, you swirl the contraption, which creates a cyclone effect.

I'd never heard of this before, but of course, you can learn virtually anything from Blue's Clues, including the cyclone experiment, and anything The Ambassador watches on Blue's Clues becomes fodder for real-life play. Note, we didn't actually open the bottles or give him tape. Nor does he seem to understand the swirl concept of the experiment. But that doesn't stop him from trying to connect the dots.

Freakin' adorable! Love that kid... What's next? Solving global warming? Ending hunger? Curing cancer? Give him a hug for me.

a-damn-dorable!

Maybe the kids should be watching more Blues Clues than Yo Gabba Gabba.

We just learn new dance moves and funny faces...nothing scientific happening there.

That could not have been any more adorable. Umm. I just love how he puts his hand out and as if to say, "You see how amazing I am. It's that easy folks." He's becoming a regular 'ole ham! He is ready for big brotherhood.

I watched this at home last night and he is so freaking cute. I love the way he tells you its a cyclone and attempts to get all his favorites in on the action in the form of Mailbox and the dog.

The fact that he can balance the two bottles on the first try like it ain't no thang is AMAZING. Those are some mad balancing skills. Get this boy a deck of cards and by the time he's 5, you'll be posting videos like "The Ambassador's Taj Mahal built entirely out of playing cards." That will totally trump my Lego creations.

Wow, there is no way I could get those bottles to balance! Love the science experiment, always nice to indoctrinate the children young ;)
